Garden Design and Planting

Using Garden Design to help clients envisage their dream garden prior to planting.

Location:
Alphington

Our client contacted us, as they wanted their front garden transformed from an overcrowded, uninteresting, block of shrubs to something more in-line with their taste.
As part of our Garden Design and Planting services, we went through a consultation process discussing our clients likes and requirements.
Following these discussions, we drew up a design including a mix of formal and informal planting. We incorporated the colours and meditarranen plants they liked, and using our knowledge of plant requirements, allowed space for the plants to grow into.

Our clients were pleased with our suggestions and gave us the go ahead to get started. We began by removing trees, shrubs and roots with a digger, to prepared the soil for planting.
Subsequently we sourced and delivered the plants, placing them in the prepared bed, as per the design we created.
We included an Olive tree as focal point, a mixture of formal topiary, evergreen plants, colourful flowers and bulbs.

In additon to the front garden transformation, we identified other areas for improvement. We recommended transforming an under-utlised sunny area into a low maintenance seating area. The result was grasses and small shrubs that naturalised in the gravel without becoming overgrown.

Our clients have been delighted with the results, and subsequently hired us to do fortnightly Garden Maintenance. After a short time, alongside our fortnightly maintenance, the garden has established into the concept we initially designed.
