Garden Restoration

A restoration project to return a much-loved garden to its former glory.

Location:
Sidford

The client's family got in contact following a recommendation that we do Clearance and Restoration with a horticultural approach. The client was a keen gardener all her life, but the garden had become overgrown and unmanageable.

The lawn was so long, that a lawnmower couldn't cut it. The trees and hedges had all grown out of control and the paths were full of weeds. It had become a space that was difficult to navigate and no longer provided the joy it once had.

We divided the garden restoration project into sections to revive each area in turn. Firstly, we used a brush-cutter to enable us to mow the grass again. We redefined the lawn edges to create a neat boundary. The flower beds, gravel and pathways were all weeded by hand. We cut back shrubs, hedges, and trees to manageable sizes, removing dead or diseased sections to encourage healthy plant growth.

The client was extremely happy with the restoration, so much so that we now look after the garden every fortnight with our Garden Maintenance garden maintenance services.

Since the restoration we have worked at making the garden even better. We have improved the soil quality, relocated plants to more suitable parts of the garden, and added new flowers and bulbs. The garden looks stunning.

More importantly, our client remains pleased with the garden especially since she can enjoy its year-round beauty knowing the garden is in safe hands.
