Lawn Levelling

The client contacted us to do some lawn levelling. They wanted us to transform their undulating garden into a level area they can enjoy. The ground sloped in two directions and fell away beneath the new fences, as seen in the photos.
We needed to use hired-in machinery to redistribute the soil across the garden ensuring the result was level.
We began by first scraping all the existing turf off and separating the sub soil from the higher quality topsoil. This meant that any future turfing and planting would benefit from the quality soil rather than buying in topsoil and compost to add at an additional cost. We used the mini digger to redistribute the subsoil to the correct levels. Subsequently, we used the mini-digger again to redistribute the topsoil so it could be re-turfed.
The client was so pleased with our efforts and the overall finish. As a result, they asked us to return to lay a new lawn as part of our lawn care service. We were also able to supply them with new, mature hedging plants as they wanted to create privacy and screening.
